Sean Power Replaces David Tennant As Peter Vincent in Fright Night Follow Up

Screen Crush report that Fright Night 2, the sequel to David Tennant's Dreamworks project Fright Night, is moving ahead with an all new cast.
Fans of David are bound to be disappointed to learn that he will not be returning to the role of vampire hunting, magician, Peter Vincent. Instead the role will be played by the Lead Balloon actor Sean Power.
Many film critic's cited David's portrayal of Vincent as the stand out performance of the film.

  1. David Tennant is an outstanding actor. He did an excellent job and it's a difficult role to play. We really won't see it if he's not in it. Why would anyone replace him? He made the movie. Huge mistake.

  2. This is really unfortunate. I remember my friends and family were all excited that the new Fright Night was coming out. When we found out David Tennant had the role of Peter Vincent we were all very happy since we are his fans. He's an outstanding actor and played a rather difficult role. Overall, he did a great job so why replace him? This is very unfair to the fans and to David Tennant. We think this is a mistake and since the film overall was not that good the only reason to see it again would be David's performance. We will not be watching the Fright Night that is yet to be released if he is not in it.
