David Tennant Appears In Dreamworks Dragons: Riders Of Berk

David Tennant has made a guest appearance as Spitelout in the animated series Dreamworks Dragons: Riders Of Berk. The TV show is a spin-off of the 2010 film How To Train Your Dragon in which David also voiced  Spitelout. The film and TV series are inspired by the Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III novels by Cressida Cowell. A sequel to the movie is due in 2014.

The show featuring David actually aired last night on Cartoon Network in the US; however it can still be viewed via catch up services or at this link (USA only). It is also repeated on Saturday December 1st at 10am/9c

David's role is not a regular one so it is not know whether his character will return; however he does appear to be the father of Hiccup's main rival Snotlout.

The hit movie "How to Train Your Dragon" is now a TV series! DreamWorks' Dragons: Riders of Berk is only on Cartoon Network. Hiccup, Toothless, Astrid, Stormfly and all of your favourite characters are back! The vikings of Berk have learned to train dragons. Now, they just have to learn to live with them!

Episode 12: Thawfest
Berk's annual sporting competition, The Thawfest, is going underway, and all teens are participating with the dragons for the first time in Viking history. Hiccup's ego and competitive behavior reveal and increase as he realizes the pleasure he gets from winning victory over Snotlout, the conceited jock, during one of the first few events.

Dreamworks Dragons: Riders Of Berk shows on Wednesdays on Cartoon Network (US) at 8pm/7c. It is not known yet when it will reach the UK
