Children In Need Tonight

The much-anticipated BBC Children in Need appeal night kicks off tonight. It promises to be a bigger-than-ever, spectacular night of musical entertainment, live sketches, special features, glitz, glamour and guest appearances hosted by Terry Wogan, Fearne Cotton and Tess Daly.
They will be joined in the studio by a host of famous faces, with performances from One Direction, Susan Boyle, as well as pop superstars Girls Aloud, who will reunite for an exclusive first TV performance of their eagerly awaited Children in Need 2012 single, Something New.
Stars of Strictly Come Dancing Ann Widdecombe and Russell Grant will be adding some sparkle and donning their dancing shoes once more to give a memorable performance with their partners from the show, Anton Du Beke and Flavia Cacace. There’ll be more dancing from Britain’s Got Talent 2012 winner Pudsey the Dog, who will join Children in Need’s very own Pudsey bear in a unforgettable performance.
Doctor Who, featuring Matt Smith, will also bring viewers an extra special 'prequel' to its Christmas special, with a bespoke storyline made for Children in Need, and an exclusive preview trailer of the Christmas special including the first glimpse of the Doctor with his new companion. There will also be an exclusive preview of the Call The Midwife Christmas special.
There’ll be more golden moments from Britain’s Olympic and Paralympic heroes, as Tom Daley, Rebecca Adlington and Ellie Simmonds treat viewers to their very own music video.
Presenter and former chorister Aled Jones will lead a chorus of 2,500 children across the UK's nations and regions, as they give an unmissable live performance of Bridge Over Troubled Water.

Meanwhile our friends over at our auctioning a copy of their fab Tenth Doctor comic, Time Leech, signed by David Tennant to raise funds for the charity.
