David Tennant To Feature In Milton Keynes 'Woodland Whispers' Project

David Tennant is one of a number of well-known people who have recorded information for a charity event that will be running in Milton Keynes next month.

Woodland Whispers takes place from Monday 17th  to Saturday 22nd September at Campbell Park in Milton Keynes and is a series of organised walks enhanced with recorded stories about the animal inhabitants of the area. It is organised by MK Women And Work, a local charity that aims to help local women improve their employment prospects by providing advice and guidance and a variety of free training courses. From their website:

Woodland Whispers
Would your children like to know about the lives of trees, animals and insects?
Milton Keynes Women and Work in conjunction with the Parks Trust will be running an event on the Woodland Ridge of Campbell Park from Monday 17thSeptember through to Saturday 22nd.
Groups of adults and children will be taken for a walk along the ridge where they will hear about the lives of its inhabitants as they go along. The stories of the inhabitants will be interpreted by some well know voices including Bill Nighy and David Tennant.
This event is suitable for children up to the age of 11 and there will be suggestions/materials for follow-up work with the children.
Woodland Whispers will be open to school parties for free in the afternoons from 1–3pm and there will be a small charge for members of the public attending from 4.00 – 7pm.
Entry is by ticket only and, as people will be guided around the route in small groups, it is important to book a date and a time slot.

For more details and to book a time slot visit the MK Women And Work Website
