Nativity! 2 Goes To Cannes Film Market

Film sales company Moviehouse Entertainment will be taking David Tennant’s new feature film Nativity! 2 to the Film Market at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival.

Although now completed, the film does not have a full screening scheduled. However prospective buyers will be able to view footage from the film at the Company Office which is located in the Lerins.

The Festival de Cannes, now in its 66th year, runs from the 16th to 27th May. Over 10,000 participants and 4,000 films take part in the Marche du Film, making it the world’s leading film market.

First footage from Nativity! 2 was shown at the European Film Market 2012 that took place during the Berlin Film Festival between the 9th-17th February earlier this year. So far any deals struck for international distribution have not been announced.

Nativity! 2 was written and directed by Debbie Issit for Mirrorball films and is produced by Nick Jones. It was shot in the Autumn of 2011 in various locations around Coventry, Warwick, Stratford-upon-Avon and Wales. David Tennant stars in a dual role as twin teachers alongside Marc Wootton, Joanna Page and Jessica Hynes.
