New Series Date For Twenty Twelve

The BBC have confirmed that Series 2 of comedy series Twenty Twelve will begin on Friday 30th March on BBC2 at 10pm.

David Tennant narrates the spoof documentary series about the Olympic Deliverance Committee as they prepare for the 2012 Games. The programme stars Hugh Bonneville, Karl Theobald, Jessica Hynes, Amelia Bullmore, Olivia Colman and Vincent Franklin, with Morven Christie and Samuel Barnett joining up for Series 2.

At the moment the new series comprises of four episodes. However, Hugh Bonneville stated in a recent interview that the plan was to shoot three more episodes later in the spring to keep the comedy as up-to-date with real events as possible.
