David Tennant took part in the Sport Relief Mile today. David had suggested previously in interviews with Chris Evans and Simon Mayo that he would be doing his bit for the event and today he showed that he was as good as his word. He ran his race along the Mall in London in the company of Sarah Hadland and Miranda Hart.
David was interviewed briefly with Sarah Hadland before he set off, looking very fit and sporty in his Sport Relief T-shirt and running shorts. He was spoken to again again in the studio after his race in the company of Top Gear's Richard Hammond. David stressed how important it was for events like this to make money for people in need all over the world, having seen first hand for himself the difference that just a small amount of money can make.
If you were inspired by David's run you can still donate to the Sport Relief 2012 campaign via the official Sport Relief website. And if you were one of the runners, then congratulations on taking part!
