David Wins Best Actor At TV Choice Awards

David Tennant picked up the award for Best Actor for his role as Dave in the BBC drama Single Father at last night's TV Choice Awards!
David beat off stiff competition for the award from Colin Morgan (Merlin), Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock) and Matt Smith (Doctor Who).
Collecting his award to cheers from the audience David told them that as Colin, Matt and Bendict are younger than him they've 'made an older man very happy'.
He also stated 'It's true what they say, the British really do make the very best television.'
Thanks to all of you helped David to win his much deserved award by voting for him!

There will be coverage of the awards in the new issue of TV Choice on sale on Tuesday.

  1. oh man, Matt Smith couldn't even win the public's love and support over his predecessor... that's gotta be a blow to his ego.

I like matt smith though as the doctor...
