Glasgow-based title the Daily Record has launched a new weekly lads' mag-style supplement targeting the "modern Scottish man".
The supplement, called The Brief, runs with a tagline "made for men". The first issue, out this week, features David on the cover.
Published every Wednesday, the eight-page supplement's first issue also has an interview with True Blood star Anna Paquin about stripping on screen, and tips on fashion, motoring and the internet.
Trinity Mirror is backing the launch with a TV campaign created in-house.
"Scottish men are now far more aware and interested in all things lifestyle-orientated," said Lorraine Fraser, marketing director at Trinity Mirror. "The launch of The Brief reflects that ongoing appetite and will appeal to our male readers and in turn our advertisers."
