Filming Complete On Good Omens Season 2

Filming has now completed on the second season of the Amazon Prime series Good Omens, as announced by showrunner and director Douglas Mackinnon. The series, which has been filming in Scotland since late last year, is a follow up to the acclaimed 6-part comedy drama based on the beloved novel by Neil Gaiman and the late Sir Terry Pratchett.

David Tennant and Michael Sheen have returned in the celestial roles of the demon Crowley and the angel Aziraphale for Season 2, which is based in part on a proposed sequel to the original book that was planned out by Gaiman and Pratchett. Following the near-Apocalypse of Season 1, the new 6-part series finds Crowley and Aziraphale returning to their life among the mortals of Earth when an unexpected messenger brings a surprising mystery. Other returning cast members include Doon Mackichan, Jon Hamm, Miranda Richardson, Nina Sosanya, Michael McKean, Reece Shearsmith, Steve Pemberton and Mark Gatiss, who will be joined by new cast members Liz Carr and Quelin Sepulveda. The new season has been co-written by Neil Gaiman and Jon Finnemore with Cat Clarke, Jeremy Dyson and Andy Nyman.

Good Omens is produced by Amazon Studios, BBC Studios Productions, The Blank Corporation, and Narrativia. A launch date for Season 2 has not yet been announced.
