Gracepoint Role Recast As Sarah-Jane Potts Signs On

UK actress Sarah-Jane Potts has joined the cast of Gracepoint as attractive and flirty hotelier Gemma. The Bradford born star of Waterloo Road has replaced Georgina Rylance who left the production earlier this week.

Sarah-Jane has also been seen in Casualty, Holby City and Sugar Rush as well as the feature film Kinky Boots.

Gracepoint, adapted from the award-winning ITV drama Broadchurch, stars David Tennant as Detective Emmett Carver, a character based on his own original role of DI Alec Hardy. The ensemble cast also includes Anna Gunn, Nick Nolte and Kevin Zegers. The ten-part event series is being produced by Fox TV for the 2014-15 season.
